Nestled between Harriman State Park and Bear Mountains, Stony Point Retreat Center offers a peaceful setting for self-exploration, transformation and healing.

Holotropic Breathwork™ is a powerful experiential breathing process where each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness where there can be infinite potential for healing and self-discovery.

Workshop includes a talk on the Power and Practice of Holotropic Breathwork, two holotropic breathwork sessions (one as a breather and one as a sitter), mandala drawing, fire ceremony and group integration activities.

About the team:

Laurane McGlynn, PsyD is a clinical psychologist who integrates mind/body medicine with holistic approaches to healing and transformation. Laurane holds a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and is the clinical director of The Center for Counseling and Wellness – a holistic, integrative healing center in Bethlehem, PA. She has advanced training in Psycho-Oncology, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Past-Life Regression therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy and Vipassana meditation.    Laurane is a certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and has been offering Holotropic Breathwork weekend workshops since 2012.

Tom Francescott, ND is a naturopathic physician and visionary teacher who blends traditional and natural healing practices such as mindfulness, meditation, Qigong. sound frequencies for healing and relaxation, Holotropic Breathwork and shamanic healing for body, mind, and spirit healing. He is the founder and director of Dr. Tom’s Tonics, a wellness center and natural pharmacy where he specializes in Lyme disease, hormonal and adrenal health, breast cancer prevention, HIV/AIDS management, functional medicine, and detoxification and weight loss programs. Dr. Tom is a certified Holotropic Breathwork staff facilitator and has been offering workshops in the US and abroad since 2007.

Contraindications:  heart problems, high blood pressure, severe mental illness, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness, epilepsy, glaucoma, and pregnancy.
