Irritable Bowel Syndrome Causes + Natural Care
- I have got a nervous stomach, what can I do ?
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a disorder of the intestines that causes cramping or bloating, pain, diarrhea or constipation. You will likely be diagnosed with this, when your doctor cannot find anything wrong on laboratory tests. It’s usually decided that stress is the culprit and medications for anxiety or depression are often given with mixed results. Your nervous system and the connection with your digestive tract is alerted in some way to cause more spams. Understanding this connection and how it gets altered is key to resolving this condition.
- Abdominal Pain, Cramping, Bloating
- Nausea
- Fatigue
- Low Back Pain
- Mucus in Stool
Anxiety, nervous stomach, food allergies, nervousness in general, leaky gut or candida or dysbiosis, antibiotics, hormonal changes, adrenal fatigue.
My approach would be to be see what is causing the symptoms by clearing up the diet of any potential irritants or food allergies, managing stress and supporting your body’s ability to cope with stress, and ensuring proper balance of good flora in the gut, and supporting the adrenals and/or hormones in the body.
